Dr. Jung Won Hur is an Assistant Professor of educational media and technology in the Department of Educational Foundations, Leadership and Technology at Auburn University. Her research interests focus on teacher education in online environments, developing online tools for teachers and students, and online communities of teachers. She has a M.Ed. in Elementary Computer Education and a B.S. in Elementary Education both from Seoul National University of Education. She earned her doctorate at Indiana University in 2007. Before coming to the USA, she worked as an elementary school teacher at Seoul in Korea for 6 years.
