Ugur Kale is an Assistant Professor at West Virginia University’s College of Human Resources and Education. He received his Ph.D. in Instructional Systems Technology from Indiana University, Bloomington, where he was a senior research associate and multimedia developer for the PIH network.

His research activities with PIH involved designing and developing web-based
resources and video cases for elementary and secondary history teachers in the classroom implementation of problem-based inquiry activities. He currently teaches multimedia learning and issues in instructional technology at WVU.
