Xiaojing
Liu works as the web\database developer for the Persistent
Issues in History Network and is responsible for the design
and development of web-based teacher and instructor tools
in the PIH environment.
Xiaojing
Liu is currently a doctoral candidate in Instructional Systems
Technology at Indiana University, Bloomington. Her research
interest focuses on online learning, information systems,
communities of practices, and knowledge management. Xiaojing
currently is working on her doctoral dissertation on analyzing
the complex sociocultural factors in online learning environment.
Prior
to coming to Indiana, Xiaojing was a research associate
and lecturer in the Higher Education Institute of Beijing
University of Aeronautics and Astronautics. She worked on
various research projects sponsored by World Bank on educational
investment in China. After she came to Indiana University,
Xiaojing has been a graduate assistant in web development
in the School of Education and an associate instructor teaching
an undergraduate level computing introduction course in
the computer science department.
Xiaojing
Liu holds a Masters Degree from the Computer Science department
at Indiana University. She also has a M. A. in Education
Administration from Peking University in China and a B.S.
in Mathematics from Beijing Normal University.
